Description

Not much to say here. A couple years back, my clan & I paid a visit to Chicago's Field Museum of Natural History, and I was able to finagle the use of a sister's digital camera for some halfway-decent shots of said facility's fantastic fossil mounts.

First up: Deinonychus, 11 ft. of nimble, formidably-taloned mid-Cretaceous carnivore.

Strange that some didnt have this bone, i would have thought it was to help support the tail, or that it would have been found only on the upright two legged saurous's. You got my curiosity spiked, gotta go check out that link.
